i got the bottom left chanel nail polish today. it was the first thing i purchased on my american express card, and it rewarded me with one airmile. i plan on getting the top two shades next... actually any of their pastel/neutral shades would do me just fine.

i love the postal service, and i'm really annoyed at how owl city are trying to steal their sound. such great heights is possibly one of my most listened to songs. and i do not appreciate you ripping of ben gibbard.

i made fake wagamama with christina yesterday night, it was delicious. although we made a tiny bit to much, and yes i know i didn't have to eat it all but, nom nom nom. we also watched 'up' and of course i cried. beautiful beautiful film.

well today was weird. not all of it. just like half an hour of it? i was walking from work to the gym, in the rain and no make up, and this guy stops me and tells me i'm beautiful? i'm thinking he clearly needs his eyes checked. he then asked me if i wanted to get coffee with him some time? he offered me a lift to stockley so i wouldn't have to walk in the rain, i declined, partly because i just met the guy and partly because i like walking in the rain.

well anyway long story short, seeing as neither of us had any pens/paper for him to give me his number even though i didn't particularly want it) he drove ahead to stockley and waited for me to get there to hand me the piece of paper in the above photo.

this guys clearly around the age of 25 and i'm only almost 20. not to mention he wasn't my type at all, and i doubt he'd ever understand my harry potter obsession.

i came home to find an origami 'Fold-a-Day' calendar on my bed yesterday. thank you origami fairy.

i have two months to catch up on, i'm slowly getting there. i'm hoping to get super good at it by the end of the year. i'll be an origami wiz kid (hopefully).

i have decided that i will be taking every possible film camera i can with me to florida. i want polaroids of me and mickey mouse. i want fish eye photos of me drinking a butter beer. i want some many photographs of this trip that it'll cost a fortune to develop/buy the film.

i now have a credit card. oh dear.

i really want to see the film 'i love phillip morris' and a handful of other films. friday night is my weekly dinner with christina, and this week we're going simple. a take away nandos to eat in the cinema. lovely lovely. i convinced laura to get skype the other day. best. idea. ever. i miss her less this way. i shall be seeing she&him in may, i'm beyond words. zooey is so beautiful. wagamama on sunday was good as always. sophie made delicious cupcakes. didn't get ratm tickets, so i couldn't get my rage on.

i love my bird cage lamp. and my new bed. and my new clock (yes someone actually got me it) and the rest of my new room.

my room is completed, but i'm to tired to take photos of if. it's strange how different it is. i suppose in a way redecorating my room was a way of marking a new stage in my life. i mean nearly everyone i went to school with is at uni, while i'm working full time. in a way it's like i've grown up at lot faster than my friends. they go out and party while i've a set bedtime of half ten on week nights. there's only a few friends that are in the same boat as me.

it's strange how i can't really connect with most of the people i went to school with anymore.

i'm exhausted. carpet is arriving tomorrow, and the tree is only half done. sigh.

back/neck/shoulder pain makes me unhappy.

things are moving forward room wise. we're painting this weekend. so i won't have my bed for the next handful of days. i'll miss the old chap. christina has kindly donated her services with painting my room (thank you again severus) on saturday and sunday. saturday night we will be heading over to bradleys get together, and do what people do at get togethers, have the same conversation with everyone there. 'hi' 'hey' 'you good' 'yeah' 'cool' exciting stuff.

i had the worlds best burger today, from the gourmet burger kitchen. so delicious. and so messy. but so delicious. i shall have to go there again. one of my aims for 2010 was to eat out more, and i am slowly achieving this. i've gone to wagamamas countless of times already, the gourmet burger kitchen tonight and have already made plans to go to 'la tasca' and 'haha' lovely.
