there's nothing to do here, so just lie and complain.

it's so hot in my house, just like everyone else's. i'm going to have trouble falling asleep tonight. i've been sitting on the top of my stairs for the past hour or so, simply because it's cooler here.

progress has been made, little by little we're getting somewhere. things are getting better. i'm having a lot more fun, and i'm doing a whole lot more. tomorrow we are going to yoga and then possibly swimming before we have our 'sisterhood of the traveling pants' film night at jen's and hat's.

my family are thinking of getting another dog, another collie to keep oreo company. this is getting me further away from my wishes of having two cats. one which is ginger and to be named gertrude, and the other to be named maca, which is serbien for cat. i guess i'll have to wait until i have my own place to have my cats. when on holiday in cyprus there were so many stray cats, and they wouldn't leave me alone! i miss the cats, especially the crazy kitten who followed me for a while.
